Blackjack

Blackjack is a fast-paced and easy to play game.

Blackjack, famous around the world, is one of the most popular casino table games. At the Blackjack table, players compete directly against the Dealer.

The goal is to draw cards and get a total as close to 21 as possible without going over, a situation known as “busting”.

1. Betting:

Place a bet on one or several boxes marked on the table. When the Dealer says, “No more bets” and makes an appropriate gesture, Players may no longer touch or change their bets.

2. Dealing:

At the start of the game, you are dealt two cards face up. The total points on your cards help you decide whether you need additional cards or not. Your goal is to get 21 points or as close to it as possible.

3. A Bust:

If you get over 21 points, your bet loses. If the Dealer has over 21 points, all bets that are still in the game win.

4. Comparing with the Dealer:

If you have more points than the Dealer, you win. Your bet is paid out 1:1. If you have fewer points than the Dealer, you lose. If you and the Dealer have the same number of points, “a Tie” is announced, so your bet neither wins nor loses.

5. Dealer Actions:

The Dealer is the last to receive their cards. The Dealer must take a card if they have 16 points or fewer and stop when they have 17 points or more.

6. Counting Points:

Aces count either as 1 or as 11, whichever suits you best. Jacks, Queens, and Kings count at 10 points each. Other cards are counted at their face value.

7. The Blackjack Hand:

If your first cards are an Ace and a Ten, or an Ace and a “Picture Card” (Jack, Queen or King), this is “Blackjack”, and 21 points. Your bet is paid out at 3:2, unless the Dealer has the same hand. Blackjack wins over any other hand, even if that hand also equals 21 points.

8. Important Points:

  • Up to three Players may play on the same box.
  • Each Player’s bet must meet the table’s minimum requirement, and the total bet on the box must not exceed the table’s maximum.
  • You are responsible for keeping track of the points on your boxes, so you must check your points against the Dealer’s announcements.
  • If the Dealer makes a dealing or other error, payouts are not made to the Players.

Additional Features

  • After the first two cards are dealt to every playing box, you may surrender at any box and lose half the bet on that box.
  • Surrender may be done before the third card is dealt to the box you want to Surrender.
  • You may not Surrender if the Dealer’s first card is an Ace.
  • If your first cards have the same value, you may split them. Place an additional bet equal to your initial Bet and take cards for your new box separately.
  • All pairs of identical cards may be split a maximum of three times. ** Aces may only be split twice, and you will receive one card for each Ace after the split.**
  • An “Ace + Ten” hand assembled after a split is counted as 21 but not as Blackjack.
  • You may do a “Double” on two cards after the Split.
  • You may not Surrender on a Split.
  • After receiving your first two cards, regardless of your total points, you may double your bet and receive one additional card (unless it is Blackjack).
  • Doubling is also allowed after a split.
  • To Double, add chips between the table minimum and your initial bet, then announce, "Double".
  • If you have Blackjack and the Dealer’s first card is an ace or a ten, before receiving cards on the first playing box, you may receive Even Money, a 1:1 payout.
  • If you reject Even Money and the Dealer has Blackjack, your bet does not win or lose.
